Atomic lemon & grape

Recipe based on "atomic lemon", with the following changes:
  • 500g demarara sugar instead of 700g table sugar
  • 245g tin of grape juice concentrate instead of lime juice
  • Gervin English ale yeast instead of cider yeast
Not a good recipe to prepare if you have cuts on your fingers!

Not much to look at; I think the grape juice has added a darker colour. It should settle and clear to something more pleasant. For reference, here's the original recipe:

  • 700g Table Sugar
  • 70g T**co Sweetener (aspartame based with lactose)
  • 250ml Jif Lemon juice
  • 250ml Jif Lime juice
  • 2 fresh lemons
  • 2 fresh limes
  • Youngs Cider Yeast
  • 1 gall. demi-john
Bottled after 26 days 9.12%

EDIT: pitched yeast dry direct into top of demijohn; after 40 minutes, it's bubbling quite contentedly. Fantastic!
